HARRY POTTER

I THINK THAT THE HARRY POTTER MOVIES AND BOOKS ARE OKAY FOR KIDS TO WATCH AS LONG AS THEY REALIZE IT'S JUST FUN AND FANTASY.

TODAY FROM BARNES AND NOBLE, I RECEIVED A BROCHURE FOR HARRY POTTER CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS. CHRISTMAS IS TO CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF CHRIST. DOES ANYONE ELSE FIND IT OFFENSIVE TO HANG ORNAMENTS BASED ON WITCHCRAFT ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE?

PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS.

Our family doesn't even mention Christ on Christmas.

Do you go to church on Christmas Eve?

We would be considered blasphemous by many with our greed and overconsumption on Christmas. The focus seems to be on buying the kids all the toys their hearts desire.

So, no, I don't find Harry Potter ornaments offensive anymore than I find Winnie the Pooh ornaments offensive.

So that means that the "Nightmare before X mas" ornaments don't qualify?? I mean the word 'x mas' is in there? isnt it? ...lol...

I do collect pretty Nativity scenes though..so I guess that gives me extra points.
